23.10.2008 - BACK IN WALES!

As a year ago, «AT-Rally Team» crew Alexei Tamrazov/Alexander Skochik will take part in the final stage of the world rally championship, which will be held in Wales from December 4 to 7.
76th Wales Rally GB again completes the WRC season that has become a tradition in recent years.
Along with the Cyprus, Greece and Finland Rallies, the British Rally, according to many drivers, is one of the most difficult and at the same time exciting rounds of world championship. More than 300 kilometers of gravel roads passing through the national park near the capital of Wales, Cardiff, offer a lot of difficulties for participants – particularly in view of the traditional rainy English weather. Recall that a year ago, Alexei Tamrazov and his navigator Ivan German successfully overcame less then a half of the race and left the road on the SS6. Now Tamrazov and Skochik rely on a better result – especially considering their very good experience received on the gravel stages of Estonian and Ukrainian championships.

23.10.2008 - ALEXANDER SKOCHIK: FRENCH IMPRESSION

Alexei Tamrazov's and Alexander Skochik's visit to France to "43eme Rallye Antibes Cote d'Azur" was the third asphalt race for "AT-Rally Team" in 2008 since rallies "Sliven" and "Yalta". After his returning from the Riviera crew's co-driver shared his impressions of the covered kilometers.
"Rally "Antibes Cote d'Azur" - the most difficult tarmac rally, which we had driven. In fact, the roads is largely overlaps with the well-known WRC stage, Rally Monte Carlo. So, the organizers, having had a thousand kilometers of interesting mountain roads, make the route in such a way that participants were trying a variety of stages. For example, the fast rise is changing by narrow winding road on the edge of the abyss, where the minivan is hardly to pass trough. This is followed by winding stage entirely composed of closed curves, and then comes incredibly fast downhill, where most of the stage you put pedal-to-metal on fifth gear. Remember that part of the special stages take place at night, and you get a rough picture of the rally "Antibes Cote d'Azur".
To overcome such a distance, you must have steel nerves and an incredible excerpt. Perhaps me for the first time in my rally career was a bit afraid to dictate my pilot - because huge cliffs and precipices not forgive the slightest mistake. On the other hand, the major of turns are closed, so anyone who does not listen to the navigator, will drive very slowly. This is rally you can clearly understand who used to ride on the transcript, and who rely only on their eyes and reactions.
There won't be a long talk about our participation - of course, the result could be better, but it's not so important. Most important for us is about 300 kilometers of the such a difficult rally that provides an enormous amount of experience and cohesiveness of the crew and the whole team. Despite a number of light mistakes we made this weekend we are enjoyed the race, and the team still plans to continue European starts. However, no-one is going to forget the Ukrainian championship too, so we plan to take part in the rally "Chumatskyy Shlyakh" on November 1 and 2".

19.10.2008 - PRICELESS EXPERIENCE

"AT-Rally Team" crew concluded his participation in the final round of European Rally Championship "43eme Rallye Antibes Cote d'Azur", held in France. Unfortunately, the finish was not as most of fans prefer - Alexei Tamrazov and Alexander Skochik ended the rally prematurely, showing good results on some stages of the race. But at the last stage car touched the curb and broke one of the levers of suspension, which not allowed the crew to reach the finish. According to the team technical director Victor Smalko, the car has not received significant damage, and the team are satisfied by the results of the race. Tamrazov and Skochik have taken home from France a priceless experience - for three days they covered nearly 300 kilometers of racing distance. It is important to say that any Ukrainian crew has not have such tarmac experience during this year.
Nicolas Vouilloz won the "43eme Rallye Antibes Cote d'Azur" followed by Stephane Sarrazin finished second. The most dramatic race came out for Michal Solowow, who became third, scored 18 points and was able to become European rally champion. But Luca Rossetti grabbed the title, gaining the necessary three points and became the first in the European ranking with a two-point advantage.

19.10.2008 - THE BATTLE ISN'T OVER

"AT-Rally Team" crew Alexei Tamrazov and Alexander Skochik continues to participate in final round of the European Rally Championship "43eme Rallye Antibes Cote d'Azur", which takes place in France. After a not very successful first day of the race, when Kiev had to leave the track due to broken suspension, Saturday was much better - if it can be said when you talk about the SupeRally system. Tamrazov and Skochik permanently showed the results between the 12 and 15 places in overall classification, and we can only imagine the position they would hold now, if there was any problems the day before.
Nicolas Vouilloz leads the fight for absolute victory in the "43eme Rallye Antibes Cote d'Azur" and Stephane Sarrazin lost approximately 13 seconds after the Saturday special stages. Michal Solowow is trying to catch them but he loses a couple of leaders of more than two minutes.

17.10.2008 - CONTROVERSIAL START IN FRANCE

The first day of the final round of European Rally Championship "43eme Rallye Antibes Cote d'Azur" can be divided into two parts - before and after nightfall. After the first section of the rally, consisting of three SS total length of about 30 kilometers, AT-Rally crew Alexei Tamrazov and Alexander Skochik occupied 14th position in overall classification of the race. However, the second section on the same road, held in the dark, was not so successful - crew has made a mistake on SS5 with passing a difficult left turn and broke one of the levers of the suspension and steering traction. Damage of the car were minor, and on Saturday, October 18, our crew plans to continue the race by the SupeRally system. In the next two days drivers will compete on approximately 230 kilometers of rally "Cote d'Azur" special stages.

12.10.2008 - HALF THE WAY IS OVER

Our crew successfully finished at the rally "Saaremaa" in Estonia, where it was decided to go instead of Slovenian "Rally Postojnska Jama". Alexei Tamrazov and Alexander Skochik took 13th position in group N4 and 28th among the 140 crews in overall classification. The crew Tanak - Melder on Subaru, which has been leading most of the distance, became a winner of rally.
Alexander Skochik:
" In "Saaremaa" the road surface can change several times during the special stage: gravel, tarmac, small rocky grit, gravel again, then clay site in the forest ... Without knowing these subtleties, you can't even think about the competing with the local pilots. Moreover, most of the special stages are very fast, average speed never drops below 110 km / h. Therefore, our main goals was to finish as high as possible and does not damage the car. We have implemented both tasks: the car reached the finish line without a single scratch, even on the front bumper:)". Now AT-Rally Team is going to France to participate in "Rallye d'Antibes Azur" wich will be held on October, 18 and 19.

02.10.2008 - GO WEST!
